Jessica Smith, Property Manager of Meridian Park in Carmel, Indiana, is responsible for the daily operations of the 604,000 SF portfolio. Her responsibilities include: supervising on-site management and engineering staff; maintaining relationships with tenants, vendors, and contractors; preparing and enforcing the annual budget; and assisting with leasing and construction. Since 1998, Smith has worked as Assistant Property Manager and Building Manager for Lowe Enterprises at this location. She then joined ZRG as Property Manager when they acquired the Meridian buildings from Lowe in 2001.

Prior to joining Lowe, Smith worked in the hotel industry as a co-General Manager for an Indianapolis hotel. With regards to cleaning, presentation, and customer service, the hotel industry gave Smith a good foundation for property management. As co-General Manager, she was responsible for staffing, financial reporting, accomplishing marketing goals, and organizing local advertising.

In addition to being Property Manager, Smith is actively involved in BOMA, where she serves on the legislative committee and the BOMA Annual Outing Committee. She is also involved in her sorority’s alumni program that mentors seniors in college and conducts charity work.
